シカモアはヨーロッパでは、バイオリンの背板に使われる高級素材で、その杢目はタイガーメープル（虎杢）と呼ばれます。
天然の杢目ですので、１点１点異なる唯一無二です。
この高級素材を子供用のDADAラインに使うところが、いかにもエルメスらしいです。
これに子供の写真を入れれば将来バイオリニストになるかしれません。
製作数も限られており貴重で入手困難なお品です。
